Music
This is mainly a remix of the “Underworld” theme from Super Mario Bros. 2. Some tiny parts of the remix are also from the “Success”, and “Failure” themes of the same game. I submitted this to OverClocked ReMix and it was accepted by the judges after a resubmit. Becoming my first remix there.
Mega Man 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, and its soundtrack is also one of my absolute favorites. I think it’s interesting although Heat Man’s theme is very short, and not that varied, I never get tired of it. I got inspired to make a remix of it, with the goal to see how far I could stretch it without it being too repetitive.
A song I made as my final project in the Game Music Composition course at Udemy.
The task was to make an RPG Boss Theme song. My song is inspired by the boss theme from Final Fantasy VII “Still More Fighting”, both in structure and instrumentation.
A song I made for the 8-bit section of the Game Music Composition course at Udemy. It’s inspired by music from the Mega Man games. After working on it for a while I felt that this song would be fitting for a weather-themed level, hence the name!
It uses the limitations of the NES sound chip (2A03) with only 5 mono channels, and a channel can only play one note at a time. Made with FL Studio and Super Audio Cart.
This is a soundtrack I made for our third game project at my school Futuregames.
In “Altiia and the Trial Islands” you play as Altiia, a feisty creature named after her passion for high altitudes. In search of treasure, faith has led her to a cluster of islands. Altiia has found a way inside an abandoned and worn down temple. Inside this temple resides an adaptable staff and there your journey begins!
A song I made for the RPG Battle and Boss Battle section of the Game Music Composition course at Udemy.
It’s heavily inspired by the battle theme from Final Fantasy VII “Those Who Fight”, both in structure and instrumentation.
